Privacy Policy (Nederlands)
ChangeGamers is een initiatief van, en wordt gecoördineerd door, het Nederlands Kanker Instituut - Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (NKI-AVL). Het officiële privacy statement van NKI-AVL (Nederlands, Engels) is daarom van toepassing op alle activiteiten van de ChangeGamers.

Deze verklaring geeft extra informatie over de verzamelde gegevens in de game en de doeleinden van de gegevensverwerking.

Game Tilly
Bij uw aanmelding voor de Game verzamelen wij de volgende persoonsgegevens voor wetenschappelijke doeleinden:

  • E-mailadres
  • Wachtwoord
  • Uw level: expert (pathologen), semi-expert (medische geschoolden), niet-expert (niet-medisch geschoolden)
  • Uw USER ID - Als u voor de eerste keer de game speelt, wordt er een USER ID gegenereerd. Dit is een automatisch gegenereerde unieke code en niet gekoppeld aan uw persoonsgegevens. De game verstuurt de annotaties van de cellen naar de NKI server en houdt middels het USER ID statistieken zoals totale speeltijd, game progressie en annotaties bij.

Wij gebruiken uw persoonsgegevens uitsluitend voor de volgende doeleinden:

  • Het verzenden van onze nieuwsbrief over het wetenschappelijk onderzoek en updates over de game.
  • Het delen van persoonlijke voortgang, impact en beantwoording van eventuele vragen vanuit het contactformulier

U kunt zich ten alle tijden uitschrijven voor de nieuwsbrief.

Oorsprong van pathologiebeelden en cellen
De digitale pathologiebeelden en de cellen die in de game worden getoond, zijn afkomstig van humaan weefsel. Voor alle afbeeldingen in de game geldt dat er toestemming is om deze te delen of de afbeeldingen komen uit openbare gegevens van The Cancer Genome Atlas.

ChangeGamers is an initiative of, and is coordinated by, the Netherlands Cancer Institute - Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (NKI-AVL). Therefore, the official NKI-AVL privacy statement ( English) applies to all ChangeGamers activities.

This statement provides additional information regarding the data collected in the Game and the purposes of data processing.

Game Tilly
When you sign up for the game, we collect the following personal data for scientific purposes only:

  • Email address
  • Password
  • Your level: expert (pathologists), semi-expert (medically trained), non-expert (non-medically trained)
  • Your USER ID – When you play the game for the first time, a USER ID is automatically generated. This is an unique code that is not linked to your personal data. The game sends cell annotations to the NKI server and uses the USER ID to track statistics such as total playtime, game progress, and annotations.

Newsletter
We use your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Sending our newsletter regarding scientific research, collective impact and game updates.
  • Sharing personal progress and impact, and responding to any questions submitted via the contact form.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

Origin of pathology images and cells
The digital pathology images and cells displayed in the game are derived from human tissue. For all images in the game, either permission to share them has been obtained, or the images originate from public data provided by The Cancer Genome Atlas. For all other privacy-related matters, please refer to the official NKI-AVL privacy statement (Nederlands, Engels).
